Blockout fabric stops light passing through the blind itself, so the room is much darker when the blind is down. As with any roller blind, a small amount of light can still show around the edges. A good choice to block external light, provide night-time privacy and improve thermal insulation.
Blockout fabric roller blind vs complete blockout blind: If you need complete darkness, a blockout fabric roller blind is not the same as a complete blockout blind. Bottom rails & brackets
Our roller blinds feature bottom rails with a curved, soft oval profile. They have a smooth surface and a standard lightweight finish. Premium square/D-shaped bottom rails are also available, which are slightly heavier in weight for flatter blind hang, with a silent bumper included as standard.
